National Campers and Hikers Association

  The Early Risers is a Family Oriented Camping Chapter of the International Family Campers and RVers. We enjoy getting together around campfires, going for walks in the woods or just setting down to fantastic pot luck dinners. The chapter keeps very busy throughout the entire year. Camping is not our only function. In the winter months the group gets together for planned activities such as game nights and progressive dinners . Doing conservation projects, such as building bat houses, and supporting needy charities are also some of the club undertakings.
     Our Camping is based around the State of Michigan, but Once a year several members venture out of State and occasionally out of the Country to attend the Annual Campventions for a week of fun and fellowship.

     The Early Risers have monthly meetings that take place the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00PM, usually at the Southgate Library. Anyone interested in our Camping Family can come be our guest at any of the meetings, activities or camp-outs, just fill out the information form and a representative from the Chapter will contact you.
